It is a politically neutral, non-profit organization, domiciled in Switzerland which currently has over 9000 Members representing more than 125 countries. AIPPI represents the forum where issues concerning intellectual property are discussed, including the preparation and defence of proposals with national and international authorities. AIPPI Switzerland
AIPPI Switzerland is the Swiss National Group of AIPPI. We are an active member within the worldwide AIPPI community. While we of course focus on Switzerland and on national issues concerning intellectual property – think of biotechnology, digital rights management, the Swiss Patent Court -, we enjoy good relations with neighbouring countries and fellow specialists all around the world. There is no place like an AIPPI Congress if you wish to meet IP specialists.
Members of AIPPI are predominantly patent and trademark attorneys, lawyers and companies.
AIPPI Switzerland publishes regularly in sic!, the Swiss magazine for intellectual property law, information law and competition law.
