Activities of AIPPI in General

AIPPI meets for World Congresses for intellectual property every two years. Only members are allowed to participate. Generally, world congresses are attended by some 2'000 members. The next Congress will take place in October 2010 in Paris, France. In between Congresses, a Forum and Executive Committee Meeting is held every two years. The next one shall be held in Buenos Aires, in October 2009, and then in Hyderabad, India, in October 2011. Executive Committee Meetings attend to somewhat more formal duties of the association, but the Forum offers interesting topics of general interest for the IP community.
Activities of AIPPI Switzerland

Many members of AIPPI Switzerland are active in expert commissions and other trade associations such as SF-FS and INGRES. Particularly welcome contributions are made by those joining a Working Group for AIPPI's Questions. Further, AIPPI Switzerland aims at training and educating their members in the field of intellectual property, and organises  seminars with highest quality experts serving as speakers and panelists.

AIPPI Switzerland is a major supporter and co-editor of THE Swiss trade journal, "sic!", together with the Federal Institute for Intellectual Property.
